Spray drying equipment

Spray Dryers

Centrifugal, pressure and two-fluid spray dryers, closed-loop systems and lab units. Every dryer is sized to your material, from 5 kg/h to plants with a 60 t/h atomizer.

Atomizing methods compared

Which atomizer fits your powder?

Particle sizeCentrifugal 25–80 µm · Pressure 48–250 µm · Two-fluid 5–50 µm
EnergyCentrifugal lowest · Pressure about 1.2× · Two-fluid atomizing power 5–8×
ViscosityCentrifugal low–medium · Pressure and two-fluid low and high
CapacityCentrifugal 2 kg/h – 60 t/h per atomizer · Pressure up to 1,000 L/h per nozzle, dryers to 20 t/h · Two-fluid small–medium
TowerCentrifugal wide, about 1:1 · Pressure tall, cylinder over 10 m · Two-fluid 1:1.2–1:1.5

Information we need

What to send us for a quotation

We do not sell spray dryers from a fixed model list. Every dryer is sized to the material, so these are the details our engineers ask for first.

MaterialName, and what the powder is used for
FeedSolids content (%), viscosity, temperature, solvent (water or organic)
CapacityPowder output or water evaporation in kg/h, operating hours per day
Powder specFinal moisture, particle size range, bulk density
Heat sensitivityMaximum product temperature, if known
SiteAvailable heat source (steam, gas, electric, thermal oil) and building height

If you are not sure about a value, leave it blank and we will work it out with you, or test a sample.

Next step

Send us your material. We will size the dryer.

Tell us the material, solids content and the capacity you need. An engineer replies within one working day, and we can run a trial on your sample in our test center.
