Food Additive Spray Dryer
High-speed centrifugal spray dryers for stevia, xylooligosaccharides, flavours, colourants and emulsifiers, with CIP cleaning and GMP design.
How it works
Dry it fast, keep the actives.
The centrifugal atomizer sprays the feed into a fine mist that dries almost instantly in the hot air. The powder separates from the wall quickly, so it is not reheated and its active components do not volatilize or break down.
A secondary air inlet at the atomizer, a CIP cleaning system and a clean-room powder handling line meet GMP requirements for food ingredients.
- No wall build-up and no repeated heating
- CIP with automatic telescopic cleaning heads
- One-touch cleaning from the DCS
- All contact parts in 304 or 316L stainless steel
- Powder cooled and dehumidified in a clean room

FAQ
Questions about this application
How do you protect heat-sensitive actives?
The droplets dry in seconds and leave the wall quickly, so they are not reheated. Inlet and outlet temperatures are set to the product, for example 160 °C in and 80–90 °C out.
Is the dryer GMP compliant?
It is designed to GMP, with 304/316L contact parts, a mirror-polished tower and a verifiable CIP cleaning system.
